Introduction

Throughout this term the Year 12 Physical Education class studied motor principles related to the sport of lawn bowls. At the beginning of my lawn bowls experience I was a cognitive learner, making common mistakes regularly. I sought to improve my skills and move to the associative stage using different types of practice to ensure accuracy and skill enhancement.

Over the course of the term I have improved my accuracy, consistency and use of appropriate weight. Based on this improvement I consider myself at the associative stage, as I have a clear understanding of the steps required to perform a skill
